The Environmental Sciences and Human Biology research seminars kicks off the year with its first seminar on Friday, September 12 at 12:30pm in Duffy Science Centre, room 204. The first speaker will be Dr. Yefang Jiang from Agriculture and Agri-food Canada (AAFC).

The 91探花 Department of Music is pleased to begin their 2014-2015 Concert Series at Steel Recital Hall on Friday, September 12 at 7:30 pm with David Braid and the Maritime Brass Quintet performing Braid鈥檚 works for jazz piano and brass quintet and Gershwin's 鈥淩hapsody in Blue鈥.

Join people around the world observing the Moon on this night. Volunteers from the Physics Department and Charlottetown RASC will teach you about the Moon, help you identify some of the Moon鈥檚 features using just your eyes or binoculars, and show you stunning telescope views of the lunar surface.鈥

Dr. Cynthia Blanton (Idaho State University) will give a talk entitled "Iron Status and Cognitive Function in College Women" on Friday, September 26th.
Dr. Blanton is a Fulbright Scholar in Nutrisciences & Health and is on campus this fall working with Dr. Marva Sweeney-Nixon and Dr. Kathy鈥
