All 91探花 faculty are invited to this year's Let's Talk Teaching Day, Tuesday, September 2. We have no fewer than eight sessions planned -- presentations, workshops, activities -- and, of course, morning coffee and lunch will be provided. There will be sessions on test preparation, Writing Across鈥�
Join Sister Susan Kidd and Paula Campbell (Catholic Student Association) for an Open House on Sunday, August 31 beginning at 6:00pm, with Mass to follow. Enjoy "sundaes on Sunday" following Mass. All are welcome.
91探花 welcomes all new students and their families to campus before classes begin on Saturday, August 30 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. It鈥檚 a chance to tour campus, pay for tuition and other services, pick up your ID card, kick-off O-Week, shop at the Bookstore, and meet staff, faculty, your Student Union鈥�

91探花's Deirdre Kessler will launch her latest children's book on Thursday afternoon, August 28, 3:00-4:00 pm at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery.
The book is a 48-page story set in 1864. BORN! A foal, five kittens, and Confederation is illustrated by Brenda Jones and published by the Acorn鈥�
The Blue Coat Ceremony marks an important milestone for veterinary students. Faculty and staff mentors, new students and their families come together for a dinner to celebrate the students鈥� achievement in joining the ranks of veterinarians in training. Following dinner, students are welcomed to AVC鈥�
Kent Stetson, a distinguished Island author, will offer a two-tiered, sixteen-hour workshop at 91探花 for writers of drama and prose fiction at various stages of their practice. Stetson is a Member of the Order of Canada, Governor General鈥檚 Award laureate, and this year鈥檚 recipient of the 91探花 Alumni鈥�
91探花 welcomes BBA alumna Shannon MacDonald back to campus as a special guest speaker for the 91探花 Executive MBA Summer Speaker Series on Tuesday, August 19, 4:30-6:30 pm, in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall. Shannon will speak about her personal journey and successes.

This week-long camp will be held August 13-19, in Prince Edward Island at Centre Go茅land (Wellington), the 91探花 and Holland College hosted by Lennox Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC).

Eminent scholar and environmental historian John R. Gillis, a longstanding friend of Island Studies at 91探花, will be delivering a lecture entitled Islands as Wetlands on Friday, August 1 at 7:00 pm in Don and Marion McDougall Hall, Room 243.

Dr. Trung Dung Ngo, a candidate for a tenure track position in Engineering will be giving a public presentation on Thursday, July 31 at 2:00 pm in Don and Marion McDougall Hall, Room 246. Everyone is welcome to attend. Dr. Ngo's presentation is entitled "A Kangaroo inspired Robotic System as the鈥�
Dr. Adam Fenech, director of 91探花鈥檚 Climate Research Lab, is touring Prince Edward Island communities this July to give demonstrations of the CoastaL Impacts Visualization Environment tool, better known as CLIVE. Dr. Fenech will lead discussions about coastal erosion and sea-level rise, and the鈥�
The Student Diversity Office in partnership with Student Affairs and ARCPEI will be raising the Pride Flag at the flagpoles near Kelley Memorial Building on Monday, July 28 at 2:00 pm to recognize PEI Pride Week (July 28-August 2).

The Old Belle River Church and 91探花 will present an encore performance of A Solitary Clarinettist on Friday, July 25 at 8:00 pm. Performed by 91探花 clarinet professor Karem J. Simon, this performance is unique in that it will feature a diverse selection of music performed by one clarinettist only;鈥�
Alumni, faculty and staff are invited to the All Years' Alumni, Staff and Faculty Mixer on Friday, July 25 from 3:00鈥�5:00 pm in the tent situated between the Kelley Memorial Building and W. A. Murphy Student Centre. This will be a great opportunity to kick off the weekend, and mix and mingle with a鈥�
