Compute Canada will be hosting a series of Town Hall meetings in Atlantic Canada during the week of January 13, 2014. All faculty, students, and other researchers currently or potentially doing computational research are strongly encouraged to participate in the meeting closest to them. The input received during these sessions will help shape the plan for the advancement of High Performance Computing (HPC) in Canada, as well as define the roles and responsibilities of Compute Canada nationally and the regional consortia such as ACEnet. To ensure that the interests of Atlantic Canadian researchers continue to be well represented nationally, it is critical that we have active participation in these meetings.
