Registration is now open for 91̽»¨ Summer Studios 2024, a five-day chamber music experience for motivated young brass, woodwind, percussion, and piano students aged 14-18, taking place Tuesday, July 2, to Saturday, July 6 in the 91̽»¨ Steel Building. Students participate in private lessons, small ensembles, workshops, masterclasses, and performances under the guidance of our world-class faculty. The days run from 9 am to 3 pm; participants will need to bring a lunch.

This comprehensive two-day course offers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need enhanced training as a work requirement.
The cost of registration will be covered by HSE for all 91̽»¨ faculty and staff, including students who require training for on-campus employment. Students who do not require training for on-campus employment are welcome to attend; however, the cost of registration will not be covered. Please note that lunch will not be provided.
As space is limited, please register by contacting HSE@upei.ca by the end of the day on Wednesday, June 12.

Are you interested in applying for grant funding to support students in course-based work-integrated learning projects or placements? is currently seeking applications through their for Fall 2024. Applications for this funding round are due on June 14, 2024. 91̽»¨'s Experiential Education department has submitted nine successful applications across past rounds of funding and would love to support new projects.
Please email Shannon at smsnow@upei.ca with a few sentences about what course(s) you're teaching this fall and any ideas for submission(s), and they will reach out to schedule a call and discuss next steps.
Research Ethics Board (REB) applications involving "more than minimal risk" must be reviewed by the full 91̽»¨ REB. The next deadline for submitting these protocols is Friday, May 31, 2024, for review at the June meeting.
Other ethics protocol submissions, including new applications that do not involve more than minimal risk, renewals, and amendments, may be submitted at any time. They will be sent for delegated review as soon as all necessary materials are received.
All research compliance applications, including for the REB, must be submitted through the 91̽»¨ Researcher Portal (). Instructions for using the site are available at /research-services/forms.

The next deadline for submitting biosafety applications, including new applications, renewals, and/or amendments, is Friday, May 31, 2024. These applications will be reviewed at the June 20 meeting.
