Certificate in Case Management – Advanced Collaboration in Care

Overview: For participants who have completed either the Certificate in Case Management or the Certificate in Case Management – Specialization in Health Care and want to take their knowledge and abilities in case management to the next level – this Certificate program is it.

The Certificate in Case Management - Advanced Collaboration in Care is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the complexities of client relationships with confidence and competence. Throughout this Certificate program, participants will delve into topics aimed at expanding their understanding of the factors that shape client interactions. From recognizing the impact of complex life experiences to adopting a trauma-informed approach, participants will explore how these elements influence their relationships with clients.

The curriculum in the Certificate in Case Management - Advanced Collaboration in Care covers essential areas such as:

  • Mental health considerations
  • Navigating complex family dynamics
  • Fostering cultural competency
  • Promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Effectively collaborating with multiple professionals

Upon completion of the Certificate in Case Management - Advanced Collaboration in Care, participants will have developed a greater awareness of topics identified to help provide more comprehensive care and services to those who engage in accessing their case management support.
