Student Research Assistant - Department of Environmental Studies
$20,75 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay

Dr. Carolyn Peach Brown, Environmental Studies is seeking applications for a student research assistant to help with the development of an open textbook for ENV 1010 Introduction to Environmental Studies. The student will help to find and assess possible open access resources and textbooks and help with their adaptation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help to assess possible open access environmental textbooks or other resources suitable for ENV 1010
- Help to adapt these resources as an open textbook for use in ENV 1010
- Help to develop study aids for use with the open textbook
- Help with formatting the adapted textbook
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a third or fourth year 91̽»¨ Bachelor of Environmental Studies student
- Students graduating in May 2024 are also eligible
- Excellent knowledge of environmental studies and sciences
- Excellent analysis and writing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills. Knowledge of Pressbooks is an asset
