Under the mentorship of the Manager of Research Services at 91̽»¨, the Research Services Student Assistant will coordinate the Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) and assist with documentation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Promotion of SPUR and manage sign-up list
  • Organize weekly events (lunch and learns), including room booking and coordinating weekly speakers
  • Coordinate research poster symposium wrap-up event
  • Communications to SPUR members
  • Update website information
  • Other duties as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education
  • Applicants must have strong organizational skills
  • Applicant must have experience with MS Office Suite and other computer skills
  • Event planning experience is considered an asset

 

Priority will be given to 91̽»¨ students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
