The School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at the 91探花 seeks to hire a Graduate Tutorial Assistant (maximum of 3 hours/week) for MATH-1910 and MATH-1920 Tutorials during the fall 2024 semester.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting in tutorials, and marking exams and assignments
  • Acting as a general resource person for students during the tutorials
  • Collaborating with the tutorial instructor to ensure tutorials are conducted accordingly
  • The successful applicants will be required to participate on a weekly basis for the duration of the fall semester

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be enrolled in a Graduate Program at 91探花
  • Preference will be given to those enrolled in a program in the School of Mathematical & Computational Sciences
  • Must have an acceptable academic record
  • Previous experience as a laboratory/tutorial assistant is an asset

This position is covered by a Collective Agreement between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the 91探花. Priority will be given to 91探花 students.
