MTS Level 6 - Foods and Nutrition Accreditation Assistant - Department of Applied Human Sciences - Faculty of Science
$30.95 per hour (+4% vacation pay) as per CUPE 1870
As soon as possible to April 30, 2024 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding, and departmental requirements)
The Department of Applied Human Sciences of the 91探花 is seeking a Foods & Nutrition Accreditation Assistant. This individual will provide support to the Foods & Nutrition/Dietetics Accreditation team as they prepare for a national accreditation review of the Foods & Nutrition program and the Integrated Dietetic Internship program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validate and complete the current course/internship program mapping, by meeting with the Foods & Nutrition faculty staff one-on-one, as well as relevant faculty and staff from other related programs, to gather detailed information concerning their course (course objectives, assignments, tests/exams, teaching methods and other materials)
- Compile all course mapping information into a common spreadsheet
- Attend regular meetings with the Foods & Nutrition Program Director, as well as the Accreditation Team to discuss progress and findings
- Complete additional tasks related to program accreditation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Dietitian in PEI, eligibility to be registered with the PEI College of Dietitians, or a Registered Dietitian Candidate
- Experience working as a Registered Dietitian in Canada is considered an asset
- Familiarity with the 91探花 Foods and Nutrition academic and/or integrated internship program
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in using Word and Excel
