The Insight Approach to Communication and Conflict
Members of the 91探花 community are invited to a workshop on practical approaches to communication and conflict with Dr. Cheryl Picard, a member of the Applied Communication, Leadership & Culture faculty, from 24 January at 6pm to 25 January at 5pm. The workshop is free, but participants are asked to commit to the entire event. Dr. Picard is a leading scholar and practitioner in the skills of mediation and conflict resolution. She is the founder of the insight approach, a learning-centered method of mediation which will be the subject of the workshop. This is a great opportunity for students to learn from someone with training in criminology and social work, and to get better connected to some of the people in these fields. Space is limited and priority will be given to ACLC students, but after the RSVP deadline additional seats will be opened to other members of the 91探花 community. Please contact student representative Katie Clark (keclark2@upei.ca) for more information. RSVP by 10 January, 2020.
