Ultimate Conditioning—Starting Tuesday, October 29 @ 6:30–7:15 am
This class is a great mix of TRX, Spin, and Speed Training. With interval training and speed portions you will increase your cardiovascular fitness, burn fat, and improve your tone. Fitness Instructor- Tracey Gairns-Brioux.
Cycle in the Zone—Starting Wednesday, October 30 @ 4:30–5:15 pm
Ride through the four energy zones that zooms you in and out of active recovery, aerobic, and anaerobic training. Blast off using effective riding techniques and learn how to measure your progress. Fitness Instructor- Anna Lacroix.
Advanced Spin—Starting Thursday, November 7 @ 6:30–7:15 am
What better way to build strength than to climb? Get ready to ride steadily and consistently with heavy resistance. Strength rides increase muscular and cardiovascular strength, enabling you to be a powerful climber. Fitness Instructor- Tracey Gairns-Brioux.
Pilates & Toning- Starting Thursday, October 31
Pilates combines stretching ans strengthening of muscles. It addresses the body as an integrated system. The focus is on training the mind and body to work together with an emphasis on core strength. Pilates helps build strong lean muscles from the inside out and is beneficial to everyone. Fitness Instructor- Tracey Gairns-Brioux.
To register for these classes, please visit the Panther Central desk at the Sports Centre and register at least one day prior to the classes. Specialty Fitness Classes cost $60 + hst (6 classes = 1 session). Sports Centre members receive a 15% discount ($51 + hst).
