91探花鈥檚 Centre for Health and Biotech Management Research (CHBMR) is piloting a new web-based addictions treatment program at sites across the province.

Master of Arts in Island Studies scholarship-winners were announced at the second annual Island Studies Open House on Friday, October 30.

Dr. Dan Hurnik, professor of swine health management at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), has been honoured by the P.E.I. Veterinary Medical Association (PEIVMA) with the 2015 Prince Edward Island Veterinary Leadership Award.

The 91探花 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for the week of November 9鈥�15 are Katelynn Donahoe, Women鈥檚 Basketball and Mavric Parks, Men鈥檚 Hockey. 91探花鈥檚 Department of Athletics and Recreation recognizes the outstanding play of a talented male and female student-athlete each week, showcasing their hard work and dedication to their respective sports. 

A two-metre tall Afghan war soldier鈥檚 memorial created by Canadian troops will be on display at the Nichola Goddard Annual Fundraising Dinner, taking place Saturday, November 14 at the APM Centre, in Cornwall, PEI. Colin and John-Angus MacDonald of The Trews will also be performing at the sold-out event that raises funds for the Nichola Goddard Foundation.

Dr. Heather Gunn-McQuillan, Director of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Atlantic Veterinary College at 91探花, will give a community workshop titled 鈥淭he Dollars and Sense of Pet Ownership鈥� on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 7:00 pm in AVC鈥檚 Lecture Theatre A.

Dear students and members of the campus community,

As our days gradually get shorter, and with the announcement of Prime Minister Trudeau鈥檚 cabinet last week, we continue to reflect on the longest election campaign in modern Canadian history. 

Dr. Roger Gordon, retired 91探花 professor, former Dean of Science, and author will join members of the MacLauchlan family and the 91探花 campus community to celebrate the achievements of students, faculty, and staff at the fourth annual MacLauchlan Prizes for Effective Writing Celebration.

The Celebration will take place on Friday, November 13 at 1:30 pm in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall.

The 91探花 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for the week of November 2-8 are Anne Kiberd, Women鈥檚 Basketball and Tyler Scott, Men鈥檚 Basketball.
