91探花鈥檚 Department of Athletics and Recreation celebrated the 2015-16 season at the 47th annual 91探花 Athletic Awards Gala on Saturday, April 2, recognizing outstanding student athletes who have excelled in sport, the classroom, and serving the community.
In 1997 a group of 91探花 alumni and other Prince Edward Islanders in Calgary, Alberta, was asked to host a dinner to raise a 鈥渓ittle money鈥 for 91探花. Since then, that group, known as the Friends of 91探花 Calgary, has raised $1 million and distributed $427,000 in scholarships to a total of 228 Alberta students attending 91探花 to date.
