Researchers from 91̽»¨â€™s Climate Research Lab are travelling across Prince Edward Island over the next month to speak with communities about sea-level rise.

Friday evening at 7:00 pm, the Panthers host the Dalhousie Tigers in MacLauchlan Arena. Saturday evening, the action shifts to Charlottetown’s Eastlink Centre as the Panthers play St. Francis Xavier University.

The 91̽»¨ and Holland College have formalized a degree pathway for graduates of the Holland College Sport and Leisure Management program.

The Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre at the Atlantic Veterinary College invites veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and veterinary and AHT students to participate in its 2018 AVC Winter Webinars with Karen L. Overall, MA, VMD, PhD, DACVB. Participants will earn one hour of continuing education (CE) per webinar.

The International Society for Applied Ethology’s (ISAE) 2018 International Congress will take place at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 91̽»¨, from July 30 to August 3.

Registration is open for the eighth International Symposium on Aquatic Animal Health, and abstracts for oral and poster presentations are being accepted. The symposium will be held September 2–6 on PEI--only the second time the conference has taken place in Canada. ISAAH 2018 is being hosted by the Fish Health Section of the American Fisheries Society, the Atlantic Veterinary College, and the Prince Edward Island BioAlliance.  

AVC students Hanna Hone, Colleen Griffin, and Melanie Stuart participated in the 17th annual Intercollegiate Animal Welfare Judging/Assessment Contest at Iowa State University in November 2017. 

Join the 91̽»¨ Women’s Hockey and Basketball teams this Saturday night, February 3, for a very special evening in support of breast cancer research. In the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre, 91̽»¨ Women’s Basketball is hosting its annual Shoot for the Cure game at 6:00 pm. In MacLauchlan Arena, 91̽»¨ Women’s Hockey is hosting Pink in the Rink at 7:00 pm. The games are in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Canadian Cancer Society.
