The Faculty Development Summer Institute (FDSI) on Active Learning in Higher Education, scheduled for August 8, has been postponed. A new date will be posted once it has been determined.
In partnership with the City of Charlottetown, 91探花 Athletics and Recreation will be hosting an international soccer match on August 7 between CF Montreal and Sunderland AFC U23 teams. The match is open to the public. Tickets are being pre-sold at https://www.charlottetown.ca/cms/One.aspx?鈥�
In 1833, the British Empire introduced the Slavery Abolition Act and on August 1, 1834, slavery was abolished. Despite that, racial discrimination continued and continues today in Canada and on Prince Edward Island. It is important to acknowledge that slavery was present in Atlantic Canada,鈥�
