Candidate presentation for tenure-track position: Engineering

During May 5-8, a number of candidates for tenure-track positions in the School of Sustainable Design Engineering will be visiting campus. The School encourages members of the campus community to attend the public presentations as per the following schedule:

Sustainable Smart Cities - A Design Approach
Dr. Shahidinejad is an academic and professional mechanical engineer with over 14 years of experience. He is currently serving as Director of Mechanical Department at Samson Engineering Inc. His industry experience as a design engineer, project engineer, and engineering manager spans three different areas: Sustainable power generation, oil and gas, and buildings. His academic research contribution has been mainly in the areas of sustainable energy, smart transportation and turbulent flows. Dr Shahidinejad received the BSc, MSc and PhD (with honors) degrees from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 1993, 1996 and 2002; respectively. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
