Bringing in the Bystander teaches bystanders how to intervene safely and effectively. Its main message is that 鈥渆veryone in the community has a role to play in ending sexual violence.鈥� This program increases participants鈥� knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours about effective responses to sexual violence. The training program will be offered to 91探花 students in two sessions on Tuesday, October 28 from 10:00 am to 12:00pm OR 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in Bill and Denise Andrew Hall, room 142. Lunch will be provided to all participants at 12:00 pm. Trainer, Annie Chau, Project Co颅ordinator, Preventing Violence at St. FX and Bridget Housten, a St. FX student, will share statistics and stories on why bystander intervention works.
