Renovations have recently begun on space within the K.C. Irving Chemistry Centre. A team of contractors is converting room 128 into a collaborative research laboratory, which will add significant research and trainee capacity, and will allow 91探花 to accommodate its growing cluster in macromolecular sciences research. Funding for the renovations is being provided by the Leaders Opportunity Fund from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI). The funding was announced in the fall of 2012 by the Honourable Gary Goodyear, Canada鈥檚 Minister of State for Science and Technology.
