Complications of Gastrointestinal Surgery: How to avoid them & how to manage them

Dr. Po-Yen Chou will be interviewing for one of two open, tenure-track faculty positions in small animal surgery in the Department of Companion Animals at the Atlantic Veterinary College. He will give a presentation titled: "Complications of Gastrointestinal Surgery: How to avoid them & how to manage them," on Friday, March 13 at 11:30am at AVC, Lecture Theatre A. Dr. Chou graduated from the National Taiwan University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and with a Master of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. He joined the Department of Companion Animals in 2011; first as an intern in our Small Animal Medicine & Surgery Rotating Internship program and is now in the final year of a three-year Small Animal Surgical Residency program. As part of the interview process, Dr. Chou has been asked to present a 50-minute lecture suitable for 3rd year DVM students. Any interested faculty or staff are invited to attend.
