LMMI Conference - June 25-29

91探花鈥檚 Lucy Maud Montgomery Institute (LMMI)鈥檚 11th biennial conference鈥斺淟.M. Montgomery and War鈥濃攚ill take place June 25鈥29 in Charlottetown. The conference will include open discussions on war, conflict, the Canadian Home Front, gender roles, and more.
Keynote speakers include distinguished historian Jonathan Vance; Montgomery scholar, LMMI founder, and former 91探花 President, Elizabeth 鈥淏etsy鈥 Epperly; and Canada Research Chair Irene Gammel. In addition to the full conference program, there will also be a public exhibition at the Confederation Centre of the Arts Public Library entitled 鈥淭he Canadian Home Front: L.M. Montgomery鈥檚 Reflections on The First World War,鈥 curated by Dr. Laura Robinson of the Royal Military College. 鈥淢aud of Leaskdale,鈥 a fantastic one-woman play will also take place at the Carrefour Theatre in Charlottetown during the conference, and much more!
