Schedule of events Thursday, February 7 (TONIGHT) Screening of CHASING ICE Come out for the first public screening in Atlantic Canada of the newly released, award-winning film CHASING ICE, an eye-opening documentary on climate change. The viewing will take place in AVC lecture Theatre A from 4:00-6:30 pm. A discussion, led by Dr. Adam Fenech, Director of 91探花鈥檚 Climate Research Lab, Dr. Douglas R. Brown, Director of Agriculture and Food Security at World Vision International and Dr. Christian Lacroix, Vice-President Academic will follow the viewing. Light refreshments will be provided. Light refreshments will be provided. Friday, February 8 Join us for the 12th annual International Development Week Luncheon in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre from 11:30 am-1:00 pm. This year's luncheon will feature international cuisine, door prizes, and a keynote by the Honourable Mobina S. B. Jaffer, Senator for British Columbia. Bring your cheque book, as there will also be a silent auction, with a wide variety of items to choose from! These events help us raise funds for the Dr. Vianne Timmons International Student Award which promotes diversity on our campus and honours a deserving student.
