Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre
Dedicated to his late father Chi-Wan Young on behalf of Albert Bing-Ching Young (SDU ’60), the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre was opened in 1990, in time to host the Canada Winter Games in 1991. The Sports Centre has a two-lane walking/running track, racquetball and squash courts and a gymnasium that can accommodate basketball, volleyball, and badminton. There are locker rooms with saunas and a weight/aerobic training room. The Sports Centre offers a variety of programs to 91̽»¨ students (full-time and part-time), faculty, staff and alumni. New additions to the establishment include the Fitness Centre and the turf field.
